Winuk Communications has been the agency of record for the nation's preeminent aviation plaintiff law firm for 13+ years. We manage media relations and provide marketing counsel and editorial support for the firm’s complex litigation work and legal expertise, including arranging interviews for Kreindler’s law partners regarding plane crashes and other transportation accidents in the U.S. and internationally; announcing victories for the firm on landmark cases; and promoting the firm’s positions on national issues such as aviation safety and security, victims’ compensation and tort reform. The agency also supports the law firm's substantial work in the areas of terrorism; medical malpractice litigation; workplace accidents; train, maritime and cruise-related cases and more. Winuk Communications has generated hundreds of media opportunities for the firm with The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, The Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Houston Chronicle, CBS News, NBC News, CNN, FOX News, MSNBC, National Law Journal, American Lawyer, New York Daily News, New York Post, Newsday, Bloomberg News, The Hill, Reuters, The Guardian, USA Today, Time Magazine, U.S News & World Report and other media outlets throughout the nation and world. In 2016 Winuk Communications won two national public relations awards for its work for Kreindler, one for “Best Response to Breaking News” (PR Daily Media Relations Awards) and the other for “Excellence in Media Relations” (Public Relations Society of America).
In support of a lawsuit brought by attorneys for the severely injured pedestrian victim of a partial building collapse in Boston, Winuk Communications generated substantial local and national publicity over the course of several months, including a lengthy front-page story in The Boston Globe and a feature on NBC-TV’s “Today Show.”
For many years, Winuk Communications has co-lead public relations on the largest terrorism-related case in U.S. history, generating hundreds of national and international media reports; staging press and other public events; coordinating advocacy campaigns on Capitol Hill and more. This campaign for justice and accountability for the 9/11 attacks, ongoing in 2022, included a years-long successful media and government relations effort to compel the White House, FBI and U.S. Department of Justice to declassify and release critical and revealing 9/11 investigative documents. A key event in the campaign was a widely attended press conference Winuk staged in New York City, featuring presentations by legal counsel, 9/11 community members and U.S. presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.
