Over the course of three years the agency provided comprehensive public relations support to this remarkable foundation, whose work is focused on bringing mental health services to the people of impoverished nations who otherwise have little or no such services available for the victims of genocide, terrorism and civil war, a population of about one billion people throughout the world.  The agency managed all media relations, developed copy and messaging, and provided event planning support for the foundation’s various events and honors, including its: annual fundraising gala (securing NBC Today Show host Erica Hill to emcee); receiving the 2011 Presidential Citizens Medal from President Obama; PCAF’s annual charitable walk and luncheon; the debut of "LOVE HATE LOVE," about PCAF at the Tribeca Film Festival; and “Recovery from Trauma,” PCAF’s conference in collaboration with the Bellevue/New York University Program for Survivors of Torture and the NYU Masters Scholars Program in Medical Humanism (for which the agency also secured ABC News anchor Dan Harris as a panelist).  Key media placements included profiles and coverage of the foundation in The Wall Street Journal, Reader’s Digest, CNN, New York Daily News, The Journal News, NY 1, Huffington Post, PBS, Parade Magazine, Real Estate Weekly and Broadway World, and numerous international outlets, including BBC, RAI Italian Television and Deutsche Welle.
